Jennifer Lawrence’s Longines Watch Caps a Run of Stellar Stealth-Wealth Fits

The actress pairs an all-Row look and three quietly luxurious canines with a mysterious model from the elegant watchmaker.

Just as stealth wealth started to slip from the conversation after Jeremy Strong’s whirlwind tour of Milan fashion week, Jennifer Lawrence brought it back for summer. “Whoever is styling Jennifer Lawrence rn deserves a long and prosperous career,” one Twitter user raved after paparazzi captured J Law walking three quietly luxurious canines (sadly not pictured here) while lavishly, if minimally, outfitted in The Row. “Jennifer Lawrence dog walk” is now canon.

The actress, who is promoting, No Hard Feelings, a glorious return to raunch in cinema, has been lauded for her tailored run of looks, assembled under the guidance of stylist Jamie Mizrahi.

But here’s what really set apart her simple gray trench, white t-shirt, black pants, navy overshirt, and the tied knit over her shoulders: an out-of-catalog—or maybe not-yet-in catalog—Longines watch.

This watch resembles the brand’s Dolcevita, but softer, with a smaller dial, an all-new bracelet, and partially embellished diamond bezel that runs parallel to the crown.

The Dolcevita collection, launched in 1997, is timelessly elegant, harmoniously proportioned, and very popular. And Lawrence, who was designated Longines’ Ambassador of Elegance early last year, has become the face of the brand’s interpretation of modern-day grace.

It’s not the first time we’ve seen the Oscar-winning star sport the Dolcevita: There’s a classic 23mm x 37mm stainless model in her collection, as well as a La Grande Classique De Longines Diamond Bracelet watch in 28mm.

Just as she is setting a new standard for quiet luxury (sometimes with a twist—she wore flip flops under her couture gown in Cannes earlier this year), Lawrence is also modeling how to wear small, sometimes rare watches.
