While in the Bay Area this week for back-to-back shows at the Oakland Arena, Travis Scott stopped by the Chase Center in San Francisco to catch Steph Curry and the Warriors take on Western conference rivals the Sacramento Kings.

Scott traded pre-game jump shots with Curry before settling into courtside seats to take in the action, though at least some eyes were on his shoes: he celebrated the occasion in a personalized version of the Air Jordan 1 Low “Olive” he released in collaboration with Jordan Brand earlier this year.

One of the most iconic colorways in Jordan history is the simple but unimprovable combination of black and yellow offered by this staple shoe, the Air Jordan 4 Thunder. Diddy, on his way onto the Jimmy Kimmel soundstage this week, showed off exactly why: Nothing pairs better with a bright pop of yellow in the wardrobe than these crisp, eye-catching kicks, which shine like a subtle sunny day.

Luxury brand Loewe’s unlikely collaboration with athlete-beloved On Running has been a surprising success in the sneaker world this year, proving a hit for its sleek look and high level of comfort. The fittingly named Cloudtilt has been a staple in the wardrobe of EmRata lately, and this week she donned the pair with a giant oversized fur coat in a masterclass of pairing. No one has ever looked cozier.

Superstar pop producer and Bleachers frontman Jack Antonoff, in addition to being responsible for co-writing and producing some of the greatest pop albums of the past decade (that’s Melodrama, Reputation, and Norman Fucking Rockwell, for anyone wondering), also happens to have a deep knowledge of obscure sneakers, at least if his fit on the Tonight Show earlier this week is anything to go by. He wore a pair of high-top football Derby’s from Zeha Berlin, an excellent throwback shoe and a bona fide sneakerhead deep cut.

For the second time in less than a week, rookie phenomenon Victor Wembanyama and his San Antonio Spurs faced off against Kevin Durant and Devin Booker of the Phoenix Suns—and this time, in addition to securing yet another victory over the otherwise dominant Suns squad, Wemby dropped a career-high 38 points. But if you had been paying attention to his entrance, his forceful performance wouldn’t have come as a surprise: He signaled his intentions to kick ass and take names when he turned up in black Air Force Ones.

Bradley Cooper has been spotted out and about in New York City once again this week wearing the sneaker that's now quickly becoming his signature shoe: the Travis Scott x Air Jordan 1 High The iconic hi-top is so ideally suited to this autumn weather—and these autumn fits!—that we can forgive the repetition.

Though they’re without the Big Three of Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden that made them primetime staples, the Brooklyn Nets have been rolling this season, as demonstrated in an impressive win over the Charlotte Hornets earlier this week. A huge factor in the victory was reliable glue guy Royce O’Neale, who turned up the heat both on and off the court with the now-classic Off-White x Air Jordan 1 High “University Blue,” one of the most beloved of Virgil Abloh's Nike collaborations.

Michael Shannon in the Balenciaga Steroid Derby

For his 13th appearance on The Tonight Show, actor Michael Shannon capped off his spectacular all-Balenciaga fit with a pair of black Steroid Derbies—the massive, gloriously ridiculous EVA kicks that have gone viral many times over and have become high-fashion sneakerhead grails since their release earlier this year. “I look like Herman Munster’s best friend,” he quipped as soon as he sat down, raising his foot to show off the gargantuan shoe to the audience. “I’ve stomped a lot of lanternflies with these.”

To round out his cozy cardigan-and-beanie ensemble (from Zegna’s collaboration with celeb-favorite knitwear brand The Elder Statesman, no less), Kelce arrived to the Empower Field at Mile High in Denver in a hype pair of sneakers that could hardly have been more appropriate: the Off-White x Air Jordan 1 “Chicago,” which features the classic red-and-white look of the original Air Jordan and adds a dash of festive spirit with its mint-green substitute laces. It was the ideal finishing touch for an outfit that already exuded major Santa Claus energy.
